The project aims to develop seaweed-based foodstuffs that can become a part of our daily diets. The goal is to put seaweed products within the reach of consumers in the North Atlantic. Seaweed firms currently lack a market, in part because their focus is on growing, harvesting and drying their harvest. Everyday Seaweed Food seeks to address this by working with food producers in the NORA area that consumers are already familiar with to develop seaweed-based products.The hope is that this will lead to seaweed being accepted as a healthy,sustainable and locally produced ingredient.
