The purpose of this project is to carry out an in-depth study of the e-fuel industry that identifies key factors and barriers, as well as provides forecasts of factors such as expected production and sales volumes, input requirements, geographical distribution of production and sales. The study will serve as the foundation of areport containing insights about the industry’s development. The report will be accompanied by an information kit for presenting the findings to domestic and foreign audiences. A collaboration between Norway’s Energi i Nord and Iceland’s Austurbrú, the project aims to improve the understanding among business leaders and political decision-makers of the opportunities and challenges of e-fuels.
