The spring committee meeting was held in the Faroe Islands. The committee meets twice a year to approve projects for grants. Committee members also hear presentations about topics of relevance and visit organisations and initiatives that could serve as inspiration. Among the sites members visited during the spring meeting was Minesto, an energy company that aims to generate electricity from tidal energy. The committee also had the opportunity to experience regenerative tourism in practice by helping clean up the village of Sandavágur. In addition, there was a visit to one oft he farms taking part in a NORA-funded project to preserve the endangered Faroese horse.
