As part of the Faroese chairship, NORA held a conference in Tórshavn that focused on the potential for marine and coastal tourism in the North Atlantic. The focus was on how innovative and regenerative tourism experiences can create sustainable growth and long-term value for coastal communities. Through presentations, workshops and case studies from the region and beyond, the conference highlighted the importance of local buy-in, nature preservation and stakeholder collaboration.
