NORA invited representatives from the Orkney Islands Council (OIC) to take part in the spring committee meeting. NORA and OIC have agreed to work together, and one aspect of this collaboration is an annual meeting to plan the next year’s activities. They felt it could serve as a model for Orkney in its efforts to open an abattoir there.
